Still using SCMDraft, we want to be able to make cool maps we can play on, instead of maps that are just plain dirt fields with no minerals! Open up the Terrain category on the left now and select a type of terrain. Note: You cannot save a map you are editing/working on or open a map if it is open in BW(with SCMDraft anyway). If you plan on making your map an observer map you can start with those default triggers instead. On melee maps players already start with 50 minerals so no triggers are needed. Since most maps have far more land than water, don't start with an all water map first! For the default triggers, you should just start with none because quite rarely you will need the default melee triggers. Jungle terrain, Space, etc) and what you want the default terrain on the map to be. Here you select the type of the map you want(I.E. Stay to the standard scenario sizes for now. To begin, go to File > New, and select the settings of the map you would like to make. Simply put, all a map needs to have for you to be able to play on it is 2 start locations. Much more, those were just some I thought of off the top of my head! With SCMDraft, you can customize a grid for the map.Ĩ. With SCMDraft, you can copy/cut/paste units, buildings, and terrain.ħ. With SCMDraft, the upgrade and tech options have more capabilities.Ħ. With SCMDraft, the trigger editor has more capabilities.ĥ. With SCMDraft, the terrain editor is far better and has simply lets you do a lot more.Ĥ. With SCMDraft, you can place units from all 3 races for any player, rather than just units from one race.ģ. With SCMDraft, you can place misplaced and stacked units and buildings.Ģ. In short, SCMDraft is way better than StarEdit for a number of reasons:ġ. If you want to make funky terrain, add cool colours, and stuff like that you will most likely need this very important map editor for StarCraft: For creating very basic maps that you knew were easy to create but you were just to lazy to do it, you can make those with the original StarEdit that comes with StarCraft. The main focus on the UMS section is for creating simple maps like ones with observer modes, ones for practicing tricks you might want to practice and stuff like that.ĭepending on how "hardcore" you want to get into this, you will need additional programs. This will not show you how to make crazy bounds, elaborate defense maps, RPGs, etc exactly, but will however, get you a start on it if you want to pursue it. It just keeps its bits shut and let you enjoy full performances. This guide is going to show you how to make basic StarCraft maps, for both Melee and UMS purposes. However, when IGE is closed, it absolutely does not interfere with your game, it does not consume a single CPU cycle and it has a negligible memory consumption. Gentle with your game: IGE itself is not lightweight. Not tied to savegames: You can save and reload your game without IGE if you want, or use IGE with a game that has been started without it. But you're free to ignore those restrictions if you want. or not: Elements that should not be possible in the standard game (fishes on a hill for example) are grayed to help you design a natural map. Tooltips: The detailled tooltips are here to help you better learn the game by remembering how far an element can be improved. Social policies: Lock or unlock branches (even the ones you're not supposed to have at the same time) and grant/remove any social policy. Technologies: Grant or remove technologies, grant a tech and all of its prerequisites at once, grant a whole era at once. Units: Add new units or remove them, give your new units up to nine promotions.Ĭities: Customize the cities as you want: increase population, change buildings, change religions, etc.Ĭivilizations: Change a leader's gold, faith, culture, give free techs or policies, edit relationships to seed wars or achieve a global peace, etc. The screenshot above illustrates the tile selection (in red).īuild the world: Change terrain, feature, natural wonder, resource, improvements, routes, rivers, ownership, continent arts. So the mod is called Ingame Editor (IGE) and made by a dude by the name of DonQuiche.Įdit a hex or paint the map: You can either paint the map (left click for 1 tile at once, right click for 7 tiles at once) or select a hex and edit it. So I thought I would share it here.ĭid I mention this mod also makes ya member thingie grow alot :-P And by some good google luck I found a mod that gives a hole new layer to my play style. And I was playing Civ5 and using the trainer but something was missing. Like many of you I do love the Cheathappens trainers. What you think about this idea? Let me know if you make this alarm. It must be totally automatic every 10 minutes. It could flash a picture of an alarm clock on the screen every 10 minutes. Computer user can hear even a very quiet peep, because one is near the computer. Also the alarm must be quiet so that it doesn’t wake people up who might be sleeping in the same room. (This should display the countdown dockable widget on screen) Either keep the plugin as a floating window or dock it on the OBS screen by dragging to a relevant area. Timer must be on the desktop, easy and fast to use and most importantly it must automatically start counting another 10 or 15 minute period. Select the Docks menu and click on Countdown Timer. My problem is that I forgot to get up, so I would like to have a timer that will remind me to get up. This small pause alone can counter some of the ill effects of sitting. And they recommend that one gets up every 10 to 15 minutes and stretch etc. for long periods of time is very unhealthy. New research is pointing that sitting in an office etc. Hi, I was looking for a timer and end up on your website. After download, unzip by right click / Extract all. *NOTE: to reduce filesize, files were compressed. Timeout has been reached and a well visible red screen will appear! This has been tested to stop speakers, much better than if the screen would not change colour into such obvious one. You can pause the timer by clicking SPACE. Countdown has started and will continue until timeout is reached. To start it press SPACE. For example you can set a 15 minute timer or whatever you need.Ģ. Alternatively, you can access it from the Microsoft AppSource store via the insert menu. Additionally, you can add Ubi Timer to PowerPoint directly from the add-in tab. You can also use arrow keys on your keyboard. Furthermore, our digital PowerPoint timer is incredibly easy to launch and use. Do that by simply clicking on the numbers with your mouse. Timer works flawlessly and it will improve your event.Īs used on TEDxVienna and many other conferences around the world.ġ. Later it was shared with other TEDx organizers all across the globe and now it is here for you too. This free countdown timer is used on our practices and in LIVE events. We needed something that looks better and is easier to use. At the time the team was using a countdown clock that was made in PowerPoint and that simply did not cut it. Timer was originally developed for TEDxLjubljana. It's usually comprised of memory fragments as well as a series of symbolic events. The latter includes the actual dream content along with the meaning behind it. There are two types of dream content: latent and manifest. In his opinion, the best method of observing the unconscious was by way of dreams. In the mind of conscious, it is the high point, while the unconscious mind and the latent are the lowest. There's a section of the iceberg whose surface can be seen above water, as well as the other part hidden under the surface.įreud believed there were three parts in the mind. Freud argued that the two are interrelated. The issue of whether or not there's obvious and undiscovered content within dreams is a matter of debate. This can be accomplished using a variety one of the most popular methods is to practice a rewritten version of the dream before going to sleep. In some cases the dreamer has the ability to actively modify the content of the dream, as well as the results. The topic of a dream will be influenced through a number of factors, including the mood of the individual who is dreaming and the subject of the prior dream, current news, as well as other happenings within the dreams of the dreamer. One of the first steps to control your nightmares is to understand how they work. In some instances the symptoms may even be linked to medical conditions. They may also be triggered by anxiety or trauma. They may be present infrequently, or regularly. They usually accompany other unpleasant emotions. Having nightmares can be a terrifying experience. This is due in part to a multitude of reasons, with the most obvious one being the fact that they have an adolescent child. An interesting study confirms that those suffering from depression tend to have more sleep and for longer durations of time. The most well-known people who reside in REM comprise insomniacs and those with depression. The REM area is also host to some of the top brainwaves in our time, not just the more esoteric ones. In this period, the Octavet is in its peak and this is also one of the best times to be in the company of your partner. In this state of twilight your brain makes the vast majority of its capacity by making it easier to learn new things that it's not taught during its active hours. The term REM (or rapid eye) movement, is the name of the game for those who sleep. This would have been the evolutionary benefit of preparing the human body for threatening things. During the REM stage of sleep the amygdalawhich is part of the fight-or-flight part of the brain, acts similarly to when confronted by a danger. The threat simulation theory suggests that dreams serve as evolutionary purposes. This is because dreams reflect the desires that cannot be fulfilled in actual life. This theory is often referred as the theory of continuous activation.Īnother theory, the"stimulus reaction theory," acknowledges the fact that dreams are a type of wish-fulfillment. It results in a stream of memory stored that travels through the conscious portion and brain. The unconscious part of the brain is processing memories. These theories have their roots in the belief that dreams are manifestations caused by brain activity, a psychological process that takes place during the REM phase of sleep. Theories on the function of dreamsĭuring the last two centuries, several theories about dreams have been proposed. However, some dreamers consider that their dreams are longer than this. Every person is expected to have about two hours of dreaming each night. The David was the only one of the group ever made, and it never was placed in its originally intended location. It was originally intended to stand on a pedestal on the outside of the Duomo along with a dozen or so other similar sculptures. There’s so much going on with this statue and its history. I tried with this composition to photograph it in a slightly less cliche fashion by including the architecture of the room. The public copy is an excellent copy, but it’s still just a high-end Xerox of Michelangelo’s. Having been now to see the original, I can say I was totally wrong. If you can make it in to say four museums in the three days, it’s more than paid for itself.īack to the David – I had seen the copy that was made in the 19th century and placed in front of the Signoria on my previous visit, and I thought it was a good enough copy that I didn’t need to see the original. It’s a bit pricey, but in my estimation well worth the 72 Euros because you can just wave it at the door and walk right in to the Uffizi, the Accademia, the Bargello and any of the other major public museums in the city. Now, Florence the city offers a three-day, all-you-can-museum pass called the Firenze Card. My first visit to Florence, I actually did NOT get to see David as I only had about 2 1/2 days, and back then unless you booked a tour group, the only way in was to get in the 2-3 hour line. What trip to Florence would be complete without a visit to the Accademia to see David? As a result, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting are hindered by the lack of detailed visibility of each flow. In previous releases, the Orchestrator UI only displays aggregated flow information and statistics individually from the lens of Application, Source, or Destination and does not combine all this information on one screen to provide a single, end-to-end view. Customers are strongly encouraged to use and familiarize themselves with the New Orchestrator UI. The Classic User Interface will be deprecated in the next minor release of the VMware SASE Orchestrator. The New UI is the default interface on the Release 5.1.0 Orchestrator and the user retains the option to switch to the Classic Orchestrator UI when using SD-WAN. In addition, the New UI adds integrated In Product Help to point users to relevant documentation and other materials which can assist in using the SD-WAN service. The New UI brings improved usability and a consistent look and feel across all VMware SASE services. Orchestrator Release 5.1.0 includes the complete implementation of our New User Interface which was first introduced in Release 4.0.0. As a result, VMware is releasing this feature as early access and will be closely monitoring deployments where it is enabled for unexpected routing behavior. Third-degree burns are much more serious, can leave extensive scarring, and cause long term disabilities. While nobody wants to get any type of burn, second-degree burns are very treatable. approach distances calculator for energized equipment makes it easy. This energy level is sufficient to cause second-degree burns, but not third degree.Ĭalculate your minimum approach distance (MADs) Arc flash boundaries are calculated to be the distance from the equipment until the point where the energy from the arc flash would be 1.2 cal/cm2. Many people mistake an arc flash boundary for being the distance from an electrical system that an arc flash, or its heat, can cause injury to a person. These boundaries will let employees and others in the area know where the most serious danger is so they can avoid it whenever possible. To help keep those who work around electrical equipment safe, facilities need to set arc flash boundaries. Of course, anyone who comes into contact with the arc flash will also experience electrocution, which can be deadly. Anyone in the area is going to be exposed to extremely high temperatures, which can cause serious burns very quickly. They are most dangerous, however, for those who are in the immediate vicinity of where the fault occurs. Proper planning ensures that today’s investments will provide lasting value into the future.Arc flashes are dangerous events that can impact an entire facility. Our cable testing allows utilities to easily measure the health of their systems and insure against premature, costly replacements. Other diagnostic tests often apply 150% of the cable’s voltage rating, further stressing the cables and accelerating deterioration.Ĭable deterioration leads to system failure and poor reliability. Based on the DC Polarization/Depolarization Current Measurement principle, it’s a non-destructive method that applies a maximum of 30% of the cable’s voltage rating. This unique, on-site diagnostic service determines the health of XLPE cables while preserving their integrity. We have partnered with National Research Council Canada (NRC), the Government of Canada’s premier research and technology organization, to diagnose the health of XLPE cables without damaging them. Here are a few arc flash burn photos of typical injuries.Įnergy Ottawa offers a state-of-the-art, non-destructive cable measurement system for the dependable assessment of medium voltage distribution cables. Even curable burns can result in painful skin and tissue injury that can take weeks or months to heal. Hot gases can injure lungs and impair breathing. In these arc flash burn pictures you can see how severe arc flash burns can cause a slow, painful death, but even when they aren't fatal, they can do severe damage. Some recent advances have caused forward movement in safety and increased knowledge and understanding in this area. This, along with OSHA law, is an effort to decrease the number of arc flash burn injuries that occur as a result of an electrical incident. The development of NFPA 70E has provided a national work practice standard to deal with this hazard. The electrical industry is continuously working to advance the level of knowledge and understanding of arc flash burn incidents. Arc flashes persent numerous dangers to electrical workers due to the extremely intense high-level heat generated in an arc flash and the pressure wave from an arc blast incident. The pressure waves can also send loose material like pieces of damaged equipment, tools and other objects flying through the air.Īrc Flash Pictures show burn injuries and deaths that are caused each year by arc flash explosions. In an arc flash incident, an enormous amount of concentrated radiant energy explodes out wards from the electrical equipment (see video), creating pressure waves that can damage a persons hearing, a high-intensity flash that can damage their eyesight and a superheated ball of gas that can severely burn a workers body and melt metal. Think of an arc flash as a short circuit through the air. Arc Flash Pictures identify the hazard of this explosive energy. |
